Who can enroll for L.I.M.E 2.0?

+

Anyone who wants to start/build their career in Motorsports can enroll for L.I.M.E 2.0 - irrespective of whether you’re a student, fresher or working professional.

Is there an eligibility criterion before I register?

+

No - you can be from any year in college, a working professional or anyone who has the interest and heart to learn and get into Motorsports. Having said that, a basic understanding of how cars work would help.

I’m not from an Engg/technical background - will this course help me?

+

Honestly, it depends on what you want out of the program. If you’re someone who’s looking to get into Motorsports, this is definitely the best place to start.

The program would work for anyone who has an interest towards motorsports - irrespective of what background you come from.

The curriculum has been built in such a way that allows you to gradually get into the flow, no matter where you start from.

How will this program help me in the future?

+

Most students applying for international UG/PG Motorsports/Automotive degrees do not get in because of their lack of experience and exposure. We are not promising you a seat at the Universities - but we assure you that with this 13-day training and a full season of the Indian F4 Championship under your belt, you would have a far better chance of cracking that seat.

Now, if you’re someone looking to get into Motorsports and it’s adjacent fields as a career, you should build up your Motorsport Portfolio.
A portfolio where you have all your skills, projects and experiences listed down and documented. L.I.M.E 2.0 would be the perfect place to start that process.

Is this a fully offline program?

+

Yes. L.I.M.E 2.0 has been designed to be a fully hands-on, offline program where you get to work on real cars and learn motorsport technologies along with building products for real-life scenarios.

(Note: All our supplementary learning material will be provided online, on our Learning Platforxm)

I’m not from Mumbai - would I be able to attend?

+

Absolutely! The only reason why we chose Mumbai as the location for L.I.M.E 2.0 is because of our workshop’s location. We would love to see participation and representation from all parts of the country, like our first edition of L.I.M.E last year :)

Would there be accommodation provided?

+

Yes - once you register for the Program, you will be given choices of accommodation from our list of partner hotels. You will be given standard rates for the accommodation, which will have to be paid over the Program Fee.

Please reach out to us if you need any clarifications.

Do I have to pay the program fee in full?

+

You can either pay the Program Fee (INR 45,000(Early Bird)/INR 55,000) in full, or you can choose to reserve your seat by paying INR 10,000 as an advance - and pay the remainder of the Program Fee as EMI.

Note: The Program fee of INR 45,000 is open only during the Early Bird window, till 11:59 PM, 13 May 2024.

What is Flexi-Plan payment?

+

You can pay the Program Fee in 5 installments, which includes the advance payment of INR 10,000 to reserve your seat.
Eg: The Programm Fee of INR 55,000 would be split as 10,000 + 4 installments of your choice.

Note: All payments need to be completed before the first day of your respective cohort, to ensure your seat.

Are there Scholarship opportunities for the program?

+

Yes. We have reserved one seat per cohort for young, aspiring women who want to take up Motorsports as their career. If you’re one of them, or if you know of someone - please feel free to self-nominate/nominate over mail at info@umaforce.com with the subject line “L.I.M.E 2.0 Scholarship”

We are always here to support anyone who wants a bit of help to realise their motorsport dreams. Our inbox is always open - and we are always listening.

Will I be provided with a Certificate after the program?

+

Yes. Upon completion of the program and fulfilling all completion criteria, you will be awarded 3 Certificates:

1. A Program Completion Certificate, jointly issued by United Motorsports Academy and the University of Bedfordshire.
2. Solidvision 3D Scan Basics certification
3. CAE Systems Basics Certification

Note: the 24 students selected for the 2024 Indian F4 Championship will be awarded an additional Certificate of Work Experience, jointly issued by United Motorsports Academy and RPPL.

How can I work in the Indian F4 Championship after the program?

+

All the students across both Cohorts would be required to appear for the Qualification Exam for the Indian F4 Championship on the last day of their respective cohorts. The syllabus for the exam is practically anything you would have learnt/picked up over the course of the program.

The top-performing 24 students would then get the opportunity to work in the pits at the Indian F4 Championship for the complete 2024 season, over 5 Race weekends.*

What if I don’t clear the eligibility exam?

+

First of all, we would urge you not to think of that first.
We understand that the opportunity to work at the F4 Championship is limited - but that does not mean your motorsports journey will come to a dead end, post L.I.M.E 2.0. You are just getting started.

Whether you are applying for admissions/scholarships in the top motorsport universities for higher education, or if you’re trying to crack that dream job in motorsports - the 13 days that you spent with your peers, the community you get into, the tools, techniques and know-how you pick up, will help you in your journey. On top of that, you get access to our team and all our advisors in case you need any help, guidance or counselling.

Don't think of what could go wrong, think of what could go right!
